Artisans shape each vase by hand on a traditional potter’s wheel. They paint the surface afterward, using techniques passed down across generations of Fez workshops. Design details

The neck is finished in solid teal with fine red and gold banding. It opens onto a body divided into panels. Each panel pairs the central medallion with sprays of dotted blue florals and sharp red-and-yellow diamond shapes. Artisans outline every element by hand in black. This pattern is busier and more ornamental than a simple scrollwork design. It sits closer to the medallion work found on Moroccan tilework and manuscripts.
